Hi Peter, anythink specific noted about these users folders? Had a similar pb with users having too many folders, folder name more like subject lines, accented characters and too many Q1 ... type subfolders starting with or having the same name.
Manifestation: Ended up with a top level "Folders" reappearing as a subfolder and the tree below. When drag/dropping folders, they would "jump" to another location, consequently the "missing" folders were found elsewhere. Initially, I thought this to be user PBCAK problem, but the folders really had a technical error and were doing strange things.
Solution proposed: Shorten names, ensure that folder has 6 unique characters, so 2008-Q1, 2009-Q1, etc. Had to find and start with a folder that was behaving and slowly work down.
